PRACTICAL MATHS ACTIVITIES

 

Lesson 1

60 SECONDS SOCKS IN A BOX GAME

How many socks can you pair up and put in the box in 60 seconds? Place the socks and the box at opposite sides of the room for an extra challenge.

 

Lesson 2

MATHS SCAVENGER HUNT

Find 1 crayon and 2 pencils. How many do you have altogether? Find 3 pennies and 4 teddies. How many do you have altogether? Find 5 socks and 2 crayons. How many do you have altogether? What if I take away 3 socks. How many do you have left?
