WORLD BOOK DAY 2026

We are excited to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 5th March!  

 

Children (and staff!) are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or in their pyjamas. We can't wait to see you all in your choice of dressing-up!

This year's focus is 'Reading for Pleasure.’

On the day, children are invited to bring their favourite book to school to share with their friends in class.

We already dedicate time to reading in school but we would LOVE to see how your child enjoys reading at home too!

Do they read on the sofa?

Snuggled up with a pet?

Wrapped in their favourite blanket?

 

Please send your 'Reading for Pleasure' photos to me via email before 5th March at

(Photos will be shared on our school website and in school.)
