Online Safety

We take the issue of online safety very seriously and this is an important part of keeping children safe at Maryvale Catholic Primary School. We have extensive security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. This includes the use of Securus.

Any e-safety incidents are recorded and managed in line with our e-safety policy. Online safety is taught to all pupils from reception through to year 6, ensuring that all children know how to stay safe and behave appropriately online as part of our computing curriculum.

 

As part of our commitment to online safety staff have regular, ongoing updates and training.
