History

The week beginning Monday 7th December is History Week.

Children should have received a research task about a specific 'Forgotten Fighter' who helped with Allie's war efforts during World War II.

 

They need to answer the following questions about their individual either in the style of a poster, word document or powerpoint by Thursday 10th December:

 

  • Where were they from?
  • What made them special?
  • What did they achieve?
  • How did they help Britain during WWII?
  • What will they be remembered for?
  • How does their legacy inspire others today?
