Curriculum

PE days for Year 1 will take place every Tuesday and Friday. Please ensure PE kits are in school each day and will be sent home every half term to be washed. Jewellery needs to be removed (including studs).

Home Learning

Spellings will be set weekly (these will be linked to Year 1 common exception words).

Children can work through the MyMaths Booster Packs. They will also have access to Numbots and Times Tables Rock Stars.

Reading is our golden thread to achiever better outcomes. Children are expected to read their Phonic book every night - please sign and comment in your child's Reading Records. Please enjoy reading a Reading for Pleasure book with your child. Reading books and Reading for Pleasure books will be changed every week and sent home on a Friday.
