In Year 1 and 2 children continue to build on previous lessons in EYFS.
The RHSE provision helps to build skills of:

Basic Money Skills
Children also revise the 'Pants Mean Private Rule'. In Year 2, children learn the names of their private parts. Class teachers send information and contents of lesson to parents before the lessons to ensure that parents are aware of what will be taught in school. Parents are encouraged to view the contents of the lessons and contact the class teacher if they have any concerns.
Children will also learn about the importance of good mental health. They will learn strategies to help when they experience poor mental health as well as places / people they can talk to for support.
