• Royal Wedding

  Royal Wedding fever has arrived in school today and we have lots of activities taking place.

  Firstly, congratulations to every single person who made a 'Wedding Cake' - Harry and Meghan would be very lucky to have any one of these.

  EYFS have been designing dresses and cakes as well as making crowns.  Our older children have been looking at British Values as well as learning about the Royal family.

   

  

• First Holy Communion

  Congratulations to Year 3, who received their first Communion on Sunday and their friends who supported them.  Their singing and reading was outstanding.  I am sure parents and families of the children were as proud of them as we were.  

  

• Holy Week assemblies

  The pupils in Key Stages One and Two have led us through Holy Week with some thoughtful and reflective assemblies.  The reading and singing was excellent - well done to all involved.  Photos and videos will be on class pages soon!

• Confirmation

  Congratulations to Year 6, who were confirmed on Tuesday evening and their peers who supported them.  Their singing and reading was outstanding.  I am sure parents and families of the children were as proud of them as we were.  They conducted themselves with the utmost reverence.

• Easter egg raffle

  Tickets are on sale now for our charity Easter Egg raffle.  The draw will take place on Thursday 29th March. Thank-you  to the Co-op for kindly donating 10 eggs.  Money raised will support our lentern charities. Good luck!

  

• World Book Day 2018

  We had a fantastic day on Thursday, celebrating World Book Day.  It was fantastic to see everyone (including the teachers) dressed up as their favourite book characters.

  We spent the day sharing stories and hopefully the children have been inspired to spend their book tokens!

  

• PTA circus evening - Friday 2nd February

  The next PTA event is on Friday 2nd February, when we will be joined by clowns Flippy and Dippy once again for a family circus evening.

  This event proved to be popular last year.

  Tickets are still available through parent pay at a cost of £3.50 per person - children do need to be accompanied by an adult.

  The show starts at 6:30p.m. and doors will be open from 6p.m onwards.

   

• Fantastic Fundraising

  Well done to the PTA and all involved in the Christmas Fair, £1666.67 was raised! An absolutely fantastic fundraising effort.  Another step closer to a new play area.
