Commonwealth games day

Yesterday 25 Key Stage Two pupils represented Maryvale at a Commonwealth games day at Kingsbury School. The games were officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and Commonwealth medallist Dominick Cunningham met the children.  The pupils took part in a range of activities including: handball, tag rugby, archery, fencing, dance and golf.  The behaviour of every pupil was exemplary - Well Done!
