• Staff sporting success

  Well done to the staff rounders team who took part in an inter school staff competition and did very well! It proves what teamwork can achieve.

  

• Welcome back

  Welcome back! It has been fantastic to see all the pupils in school looking so smart and eager to learn.  This week we have had a multi-faith focus, pupils have been learning why it is important to understand and respect other faiths.  School has been very busy with visitors, dance, drama and even trips - photos will be added shortly.

• Lenten Fundraising

  The pupils have worked hard throughout Lent to raise money for our Lenten charities; HCPT and Cafod.  Led by the spiritual council a variety of events have taken place in school over the last few weeks including: bake sales, sponsored events and even a car wash!

  The current total raised is over £1300!  This is staggering well done to everyone.

  

• Easter Egg Raffle

  Tickets are currently on sale at break and lunchtimes for our Easter Egg Raffle.  The Raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 17th April.  Thank-you to staff, PTA and governors who have all kindly donated eggs.  Once again a special thank-you to Tesco for their generous donations.

  All money raised will go to CAFOD and HCPT 

  

• Sports Success

  Well done to the pupils in Year 3 and 4 who won their sportshall athletics heat, making it through to the finals, where they finished fifth out of eight.  Their sportsmanship and behaviour were excellent. Well done!

  

• International Women's Day - opportunities in STEM

  Eight girls from Years 5 and 6 took part in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) event at Wolverhampton University.  The aim was to engage more girls in maths and physics as you can see from the photographs they had an enjoyable day and returned to school full of enthusiasm!

• World Book Day 2019

  We are having a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day 2019.  Well done to everyone for taking the time and effort to dress up.  The children have really enjoyed sharing their books and listening to stories.
