Our School Patron, whom our school is named after, guides us through her example and prayers.

 

Our Lady of the Assumption - Feast day 15 August

 

Our Lady was chosen by God to be part of His plan for the salvation of the world. For this reason she was conceived without sin and when her life on earth was over she was assumed body and soul into Heaven. It is a sign of the holiness with which she lived her life and her closeness to her son, Jesus. It is also a sign of the importance of Mary and the role she plays in our faith as a model and example of true discipleship. She shows us how to follow Jesus more closely in our own lives and how we can grow to be more like Him in all we do and say.
