A super day focusing on how children feel, their well being and mental health. Children learnt that they have a right to be safe at all times and they can talk to a trusted adult to share anything they may be worried about! A problem shared is a problem halved 😃

We created a paper chain for world kindness day. The children wrote acts of kindness they could show to their family, friends and local community.
We held a special remembrance prayer service.

We came up with some really creative ways to demonstrate our learning on the Solar System. Super work Year 5!

Science
In science we have been learning about our Solar System. This week we used different fruits to represent the planets to gain better understanding of how the size of each planet differs. We have also looked at how the planets orbit the Sun.
