Work at home Wk beginning 8-6-20

Hello Year Two,

 

I hope that you have all had a lovely half term and enjoyed the sunshine.  I will be setting your home learning work from now on as Mrs Patterson is busy looking after Year One.  She has told me all about the work that you have been doing and I have really enjoyed looking at the photos that some of you have sent in - well done!  All the teachers at school really miss you and we can't wait until we are all able to come back to school.    For the next two weeks, I will be setting you work based around the topic 'The Great Fire of London'.  I will upload your work weekly.  It would be lovely to see your work so if possible, please send me pictures of your work by email  (To Mrs Patterson's email) or upload them to Twitter using #maryvalefamily.  Remember that you can access Oxford Reading Buddy to help you with your reading and MyMaths for your maths - I will be setting additional tasks on here too.  Enjoy your learning!

Task Two - Please create a vocabulary mat with words connected to The Fire of London. Below is an example but I think you could make a better one !
