Welcome Back Year 4!
Even though we must currently stay at home, I hope that all of you are enjoying the weather and helping your families during this time! I am missing seeing all of your lovely faces every day and cannot wait until we are all back together at Maryvale soon!
Tasks for this week:
I would like you to do something a little bit different this week and take the time to write a letter or postcard to somebody and post it. You may not have seen older relatives for a few weeks or maybe you have family that you haven't been able to visit due to the lockdown. I know that they would really benefit and love to hear from you by receiving a little message in the post.
It is complete up to you what you write to them about. However here are a few suggestions for if you're struggling:
In order to post your letter/postcard you will need to put it in a sealed envelope and ask your parents for a stamp. Once you have written their address on the envelope you may put it in your local post box and the postman will sort the rest...
I would love to see they fantastic letters that you create or even a picture of you posting it in the post box. Please ensure your parents take pictures and email them to me - b.martin@maryvale.bham.sch.uk
Have fun
Other online work:
If you need moving up a level or are having any troubles logging onto the above sites, please ask your parents to email me.
ST George Homework
A massive well done to the children who completed their St George Posters. They were fantastic and very informative. Here are some of my favourites:
Special Mentions
Once again well done to the following children for completing all of their online tasks from last week. Your hard work and dedication has not gone unnoticed!
Once again Year 4, have a fantastic week! Although this time apart has been challenging at times, it has really proved to me what resilient and independent learners I have in my class and that makes me a very proud teacher.
Keep going, I will look forward to receiving some more fantastic work from you!
Keep safe, Keep smiling.
