Weekly spelling lists will appear here when they are prepared. Notes may be attached to them to help learn them.
Children will be provided with written copies, but they can be acccessed here if the lists are lost or you simply want to access them on the computer.
There are also some useful information about root words, word families, prefixes and suffixes, all of which Year 5 pupils should have an understanding of.
There are also links to the Years 3 and 4 and the Years 5 and 6 spelling lists - children should already know and use all of the spellings from, the first lists, and by the end of Year 6, they should know and use all of the words from the second list.
