Welcome Back Year 4!

I hope you all had an enjoyable rest over what should have been "May Half Term".

I have spent the last few days back at school but in the Year 1 classroom (I know, weird!!!).
For the next few weeks, I will be teaching the Reception children in the Year 1 classroom. However, I will still be keeping in close contact with you all and setting your work weekly.

This Week's Tasks:

1. The first task I would like you to complete is a smoothie project.
Your challenge is to create a recipe for your very own smoothie creation!
You will need to:

  • Give your smoothie a unique name.
  • Write a recipe explaining the ingredients, equipment and method to make this smoothie.
  • Make the smoothie.
  • Take a picture with your creation!

I cannot wait to read your fantastic recipes and create your smoothies at home to enjoy!

Below is a link with lots of smoothie ideas on and also a recipe template.

2. TTRockstars Sessions - 5 Garage Sessions - 3 Studio Sessions - 3 Festival Sessions.

3. MyMaths - We are still on the topic of measure but this week will be looking at Perimeter.

Please complete: Introducing Perimeter and Perimeter.

4. Oxford Reading Buddy. Please continue to read atleast 3 books a week and complete the quiz.

If you need to be moved up a level on Oxford Reading Buddy, please email me.

Special Mentions

Once again, a huge well done to all the children that have sent me work over the past few weeks. I have been so impressed with the creativity and effort that you have shown. Here is a collection of some of the fantastic work you have created.

Thank you for your continued hard work and dedication Year 4! School really isn't the same without your smiling faces in our classroom.

Next week I will be conducting a Zoom meeting for all who would like to virtually say hello to eachother where we will have a catch up and maybe do a quiz. I will put the details of this on next weeks homework page.

In the meantime, get creative with those smoothies and have fun.

Miss you all. Take Care
